Why do I keep having these dreams?

the past couple of days I have been having dreams of being severely hurt. The one dream i was being hunted by some creepy guy who shot me, and then last night I had a dream of these secret club people who stopped me and was saying creepy stuff to me and they stabbed me, and both times I was petrified and really scared and I could feel the pain too and I had other dreams kind of like it too, why am I having these dreams?
